The Portwest FP41 is a durable fall arrest block featuring a 10 metre retractable steel lifeline, designed to provide reliable fall protection when working at height. The unit incorporates a 4.8 mm steel wire rope housed on a spring-loaded reel inside a robust protective casing.
The integrated braking mechanism allows the lifeline to be extended smoothly and retract automatically in line with the user’s movements. In the event of a sudden fall, the braking system engages immediately to arrest the fall and minimise fall distance. The FP41 is fitted with a swivel carabiner featuring a double safety lock and an integrated fall indicator for added safety and inspection control.
