IPAF 1B Lift Course

This IPAF operator course is for users of “Static Vertical” lifts. These machines are driven or pushed to their work location and will elevate themselves when the stabilisers/legs/outriggers are deployed.

At the end of the course, the participant will have achieved the following:

• Awareness of relevant health and safety regulations.
• Awareness of how to avoid accidents.
• Awareness of the need for personal protection.
• Awareness of the need to refer to the machine's user manual.
• Operate the lift safely and manoeuvre the machine as required to correctly position and perform the required tasks in a correct and acceptable manner, both inside and outside a building.

The IPAF courses consist of a two-part test. The two-part test involves a theoretical and a practical test, both of which must be passed.

After passing the course, you will receive a course certificate, a PAL card (Powered Access License), a logbook, and a safety guide in the IPAF ePAL app. An IPAF certificate is valid for 5 years and is internationally recognised as documentation of competence in the safe operation of lifts.
